Your booking
A private sauna booking gives your group exclusive use of the wood-fired sauna, cold plunge and changing room for the date and two-hour time slot shown in your confirmation. The maximum group size is eight, including the person booking. The hot tub, accommodation and other retreat facilities are included only if expressly stated in your booking confirmation. The person booking must be at least 18 and must share the sauna and plunge rules with everyone in their group.
Price and payment
The full price, including any applicable VAT and charges, is shown before you pay. Your booking is confirmed when we accept payment and send your confirmation email. Please check its date, time and guest number and tell us promptly if anything is wrong.
If you need to cancel or change your booking
Email us at j.bull95@icloud.com
The following proposed policy applies to the amount paid for the private session:
At least 7 days - Full refund, or one move to another available date.
48 hours to less than 7 days - One move to another available date; or a 50% refund if you prefer to cancel.
Less than 48 hours, or failure to attend - No refund unless we refill the slot. If we do, we refund what we recover, less reasonable additional costs.
A date move must be used within six months and is subject to availability. We will consider exceptional circumstances fairly. If fewer guests attend than booked, the booking price does not change.
If we need to cancel or make a significant change
We may have to close a facility or cancel a session because of a safety concern, equipment or water-quality problem, severe weather or another event outside our reasonable control. We will contact you as soon as practicable and offer an alternative suitable slot or a full refund. If a material part of the booked experience is unavailable, you may choose a full refund instead of a reduced experience. We do not promise compensation for travel or other arrangements you make separately, except where the law requires it.
Arrival and use
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your slot for the safety briefing. Your session ends at the stated time even if your group arrives late. We may refuse entry or end a session where someone is intoxicated, behaves unsafely or seriously breaches the use rules. We will act reasonably and will not refund a session ended for those reasons.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Sauna and cold plunge rules

Please read before your visit and share with everyone in your group.
Suitability.
Heat and cold immersion can put strain on the body. If you are pregnant, have a heart or circulatory condition, uncontrolled blood pressure, a condition affecting your response to heat or cold, or any other concern, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before taking part. You can enjoy the space without using the sauna and plunge. Tell us privately before the session if you need an adjustment or have a safety concern.
Arrive sober and stay hydrated.
Do not use the sauna or plunge while affected by alcohol or recreational drugs. Bring drinking water and take breaks whenever you need them.
Use the sauna gently.
Sit on a towel. Follow the host’s instructions about the stove and ventilation; only our staff may tend the wood-fired stove. Do not touch the stove, place anything on it, add oils or other substances, or pour water on the stones unless the host has said this is permitted. Leave immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous or unwell.
Enter the plunge slowly.
Never jump or dive in, submerge your head, hold your breath under water, or use the plunge alone. Pause after the sauna, let your breathing settle and use the steps provided. Get out promptly if you feel unwell.
Keep the water clean.
Do not use it if you have vomiting, diarrhoea, an infectious illness or an uncovered open wound. Follow any instructions about swimwear and towels.
Look after the group and the woodland setting.
No glass near the sauna or plunge and no candles or other naked flames brought by guests. Walk carefully on wet or uneven surfaces. Stay within the guest areas. Tell the host immediately about a spill, damage, injury or anyone feeling unwell.
Children.
The sauna and plunge are for adults over the age of 18 only
In an emergency, leave the sauna or water, alert the host and call 999 if urgent. The site address for emergency services is Rookery Farm East, Nye, Hewish BS24 6TL.
