Hidden amongst the trees at The Wild Rookery,

Rookers Rest is our secluded woodland cabin. A cosy place to escape everyday life and settle into something slower. Wake amongst the trees. Drink your morning coffee outside. Shower beneath the open sky. Light the log burner when the evening draws in and sit beside the fire as darkness falls.

This isn’t about cramming an itinerary into your stay.

It’s about having nowhere else you need to be.

Stay a while to find the magic

Rookers Rest is part of The Wild Rookery, but the cabin remains your own private retreat during your stay.

Explore the surrounding countryside, follow the Strawberry Line, disappear into the woods, or don’t go anywhere at all.

Sometimes doing absolutely nothing is precisely the point.
